Dennis Gray

I have spent my professional career involved with the construction industry and energy conservation. I am a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (P.E) as well as a LEED-AP and certified RESNET Home Energy Rater. I have worked as a mechanical engineer in HVAC and plumbing, a project manager in energy management, mechanical and general construction and have a strong desire to make the world less dependent on fossil fuels and help our homes and buildings become more sustainable.

Dennis Gray is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Utah and California.

Dennis Gray is a certified Home Energy Rater under the RESNET national certification system.

Dennis Gray is an accredited Verifier with NAHB Research Center.

Dennis Gray is a Leadership in Environment and Energy Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP) with the USGBC.

Dennis Gray is a member of the American Society of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers (ASHRAE), and of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Dennis Gray is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.

Dennis Gray is a member of the Park City Mountain Resort patrol and the National Ski Patrol, and is a licensed EMT. He also loves to ski, mountain bike, hike and run rivers.

Education and Training

I have an engineering degree from University of California at San Diego (UCSD) and have continued my education in areas such as energy conservation, building science, heating and air conditioning systems design, digital temperature control systems, energy management systems, sustainable building design, water use conservation, and renewable energy systems. I have more recently completed training in home energy rating, energy auditing, and infrared thermal imaging applications.
